Shame to see another one bite the dust, doesn't look like anything major is wrong with it...

theres really not. it was running and driving fine then an injector driver went in the ECU. its a super easy fix, but ive had this car forever and i want to start something new and fresh (and euro) so its time for the ol girl to go

no, that's a little extreme. iirc it was one of AJ's friend's car. not sure on the story, but i got the impression his friend had past. i figured he'd come in here and say something, but he hasn't yet, so i did.

passed or past? there is a difference ;)

i dont think so. ive been running my car with no trans sensors just the reverse lights... hell my harness was modded to ONLY run reverse lights when i got it.

check your coilpacks and make sure all your contact graphite tips are present.

my cars problem was the following

a.water pump
b.timing belt off a tooth
c. missing 3 graphite contacts and 1 coil spring
d.bad alternator
e.vac leak

I have a E46 that is illuminating the DSC and BRAKE light in orange and need a BMW mech or shop to read the code to tell me what it is.

I have already done tons of research and found the best way is to get the code to make sure, and NO its not the OBD 'CEL' that i need read...the actually BMW ones.

I suspect its the steering angle sensor.

Anyone can help me?

yeah bring it up here. we have an autologic scan tool as well as pretty much everything needed to diagnose bmw issues
