Yours should be running before I even get back on tuesday!
I know I am no good at wiring, but if Ben is busy and you dont feel like digging through it, I can just tie all the wires that need constant, all the wires that need switchable, and the couple that (may) need grounds together and tether em off for you... or whatever. Ps. Old motor is safely at it's new home and I am without a cell charger here in SC. I got to the piping I have and it was only two stupid "L"s. One was a 90* and the other was like a 70*. Thats usesless, right? |

Car went out on it's maiden drifty voyage under 1J power...... and HOLY HELL, I love this thing now!
Day began with a 3 hour drive to NJ. We got there and started driving around 10am. Between 10am and 8pm, I made more runs than I have ever made in my LIFE. I did 3 times more tandem runs in one day than I have in my life, and I had more fun than I have EVER had doing the drifty before. The engine and car were everything I could have hoped for. I never stopped once for a cool down. In 10hrs of hotlapping my ass off, I never saw the gauge move once. The stock clutch held third gear beating all day. Speaking of third, I had a little trouble with my scraggly home made short throw mess and was struggling with the 3-2 downshift..... So I tried leaving it in 3rd for the remainder of the course after the second turn...... Car destroyed 235s and 245s in 3rd at any speed. The only prob was that 3rd in tight sections heated the tires or whatever so fast that it actually SLOWED me down..... smoke was nice though, HARRRRRRRRRRRRRR. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/All-Sta...EAST_178040.htm Vid with Myself, Asian Dan, Brian W. and Zombie car 2.0, and alot of other drivers who all had the time of their lives saturday at E-Town..... |

p.s. this car was my inspiration. Then you need an R chassis too! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/emthup.gif) With the recent impounds, etc. and the R35 people seem to be selling these more. We'll there sure it seems like it anyway. I was on Zilvia the other day and I never saw so many Skylines for sale. |

HARRRRRR, I think Matt meant motor inspiration, HARRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
I'm not sure he is the R32 type. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/058_teehee.gif) I wouldnt recomend this damn thing to ANYONE. If you wanna know what it feels like to drift one, just take your S chassis and add 200lbs to the front and 150lbs to the rear in the form of whatever dead weight you can find (deceased hookers preffered), then take your tension rods and crank your caster back to about 5ish (or until the tires rub the rear of the fenderwell ALOT), then adjust your steering stops to give the least amount of angle possible... Bang, your S13 will drift JUST like my car. HARRRRRRRRRRRRRR.. ..but seriously. ^^^Ps. That is how my car feels AFTER all the usual improving mods done to make it NOT feel AS bad...but I love the look/feel of the damn boat so much. |
