they're getting the knuckles today, should have a jig made up in the next week. there are only slight differences between S13 and 14.
However, if you want to go 5-lug, S14 ones bolt on with everything that's included in this kit. |

it's not the parts holding up the progress, it's testing and making the jig. We still have customer cars to keep moving and such, ya know.

Has the angle of the tierod joint been changed? no, not that i'm aware of, I looked closely at Brian's yesterday, and this angle was maintained. I'm assuming here, that you're talking about the angle of the surface plane of the tapered tie-rod ball-joint hole in relation to a horizontal plane. I'm fairly sure the axis of the hole is also maintained in both horizontal and vertical planes. I haven't taken any measurements, yet. But, I'd like to also find out if and how much this affects ackerman. |

I just asked because the picture looks like it might have changed a bit. Could just be the angle of the parts.

yeah, the OEM knuckle has hard lines that help with seeing posistioning relationships. If you look closely you can see that the spindle of the gray knuckle is more vertical than the OEM knuckle enhancing the illusion.

I also need to make a correction, these are MIG welded with a Miller 251 welder. Both sides are greatly relieved before the weld to make sure there is thorough penetration extending all the way to the center of the materials being welded.
