for the door, you need to readjust the striker. take the striker off, stick a screw driver in the threaded holes and pry slightly inward. this will move the holes a little bit which will close the door tighter.

sometimes its the nylon bushing that came with the 240sx. IMHO the OEM nylon bushing is kind of thin and doesn't "absorb" the latch well when the door is closing. my driver side door was having this "door closed, but door light on" problem AND it wasn't sitting flushed. adjusted the striker, replaced door sensor(lil black nipple) and then readjusted the door hinges. i found out the nylon was cracked and i replaced it with a nylon sleeve from ace hardware.
this is the website that i got the hint from: http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=283265 this is the size i found: Nylon Sleeve 12mm X 16mm but at Lowes they are called Nylon spacers, whice are usually found in the Specialty fasteners section. for further problems(like the grinding in reverse): http://www.240sx.org/faq/ http://www.240sxforums.com/forums/beginner...volume-1-a.html http://zilvia.net/f/chat/165576-new-240sx-...nifinished.html seriously, do a search, or search the internet as well, don't just rely on people. if u put more effort, ppl will respond better imo |

best thing to do for the door sensor light is just take the bulb out of your gauge cluster and forget that shit. i don' t think you need a light to tell you that your door is open!
