Once again an attempt to get Charlotte and Raleigh area people to attend together. This is a long ways away. No excuses Charlotte people. Last year one of you made it (Andy).
When: May 30th Time: 1 PM (plan on cooking/eating around 2-3pm) Where: Hagan-Stone Park in Pleasant Garden, NC http://www.greensboro-nc.gov/departments/P...tions/hagan.htm 5920 Hagan-Stone Park Road Pleasant Garden, NC 27313 Facitilies map: http://www.greensboro-nc.gov/NR/rdonlyres/...3F/0/hsmap1.pdf We will be grilling out and have a shelter (#3) reserved. We were using Shelter #2 last year for those that attended, same parking lot this year. Which is nice and covered by trees for shade. Frankie has sprung for the reservation money. I will pick up burgers/dogs/chicken to be grilled. We will take donations from attendees to cover some of the costs, $3-5 each. Also if anyone can bring the following: - cooler/ice: I will have one big cooler, but probably need more - anything else you can think of that's needed - charcoal/lighter fluid (daverussell/ashleyb) - a lot of mac 'n cheese (jfishel) - Blue margaritas (jfishel) - Shelter rental (fos240) - burgers/dogs/chicken/cooler (biggie) - chips and condiments (92T2U4RB0) - cups, plates, napkins (Phlip by money of ThatGuy) - condiments, buns, side items: chips, preztels, etc (Pat) - cooking and eating utensils, cheese, drinks: non-adult (Tom) IT IS BYOB/L. Let us know if you are going to attend and if you can bring anything so we don't bring duplicates if they aren't needed. I lied, it is shelter 4. I would go with that one. With restrooms and poop.
edit: Just called Frankie and he is going to call and see if we can change to Shelter #4. It has electrical, bathrooms and large grill. I think it will be better than Shelter #3. |

You gotta pay to get better things. If that means everyone donating $5.00 AND bringing something (not all the same thing) I think we can swing it. Hell, I told you I would bring poop so put me down for charcoal, lighter fluid, cooking utensils, cutlery, plates and cups. I think I can swing that stuff.
